City advises of water supply disruptions in Fisantekraal

Residents are advised that the City’s Water and Sanitation Department will be doing an upgrade on the 250mm diameter main water supply line for Fisantekraal on Tuesday, 10 November 2020. Read more below:

This work includes creating a new connection to the bulk water network, which can be used to supply the area if the normal supply line experiences a fault.

The work will require that the water supply to Fisantekraal and the surrounding agricultural area be disconnected from 09:00 until 16:00 on Tuesday,10 November 2020.

Consumers are advised to store water upfront in clean, sealed containers for use during this period and to keep their taps closed to avoid any water loss or damage when the supply is restored

Water tankers will provide water to Durbanville Industrial, Fisantekraal area as well as to the school in Fisantekraal.

The City regrets any inconvenience caused.
